Hi Friends! It's been so chilly up by my house. I was a southern pup for almost 10 years. I still don't like the cold or icy weather. Did you know that sidewalk salt can be very harmful to your pups paws, regardless of their size? Also the de-icer chemicals used on city sidewalks can burn the bottoms of our feet. Now some pups dont like boots on their feet. You can also purchase a special wax that goes on the paws to prevent burning. At my house if we have to use salt, Momma has special salt that is pet safe. So please be aware this winter season of your pups paw health.
